By bus
Austrian Airlines passengers can use the bus shuttle from St. Gallen-Altenrhein airport to Bregenz. The timetable is based on the arrival and departure times of scheduled Austrian Airlines services and provides easy connections from and to Vorarlberg/Bregenz railway station. The bus ticket is free for holders of a valid Austrian Airlines plane ticket.

Train services
The stations Rorschach and Rheineck, served by express trains, are only 5 minutes from the airport and have good connections to Vorarlberg/Bregenz. The airport bus operated by the company ÖBB-Postbus GmbH (Post bus No. 102) runs twice daily from Monday to Friday direct from the airport to the railway station in Bregenz.

It takes approximately five minutes to walk from Bregenz railway station to the venue in the Bregenz Festspielhaus.

coming from Vienna and Innsbruck on motorway A 14 (tax sticker "vignette" compulsory)
· exit Bregenz
· City Tunnel
· Turn right after the tunnel (Rheinstraße)
· Turn right on to the bridge after approx. 400m (signpost "Festspielhaus"), turn right after the bridge
coming from Switzerland
· customs post Höchst (A)
· then turn right after the first junction
· take the B 202 via Fußach and Hard towards the centre of Bregenz (Rheinstraße)
· straight ahead until the signpost "Festspielhaus" then turn right on to the bridge, and turn right after the bridge

· Pfänder Tunnel
· first exit right to Bregenz after the tunnel
· City Tunnel

· B 190 towards Bregenz (along Lake Constance)

A limited number of parking spaces are available for accredited media representatives in front of the Bregenz Festspielhaus. Parking cards will be issued at the accreditation desk in front of side stage 2 of the Bregenz Festspielhaus.
